The tank is constructed with a virgin polypropylene liner along with an FDA approved high quality butyl diaphragm. This is secured to the steel tank wall with a clamping ring. The bronze air valve, sealed with a plug on the screw valve, prevents air leakage. Water enters the tank through a patented stainless steel water connection. The diaphragm and liner are reinforced in common wear areas for long life.
All internal parts, including the air valve, are rounded to prevent puncturing of the diaphragm under extreme conditions. The water connection provides a double water/air seal, ensuring a leak- and maintenance-free tank.
The exterior is painted in an almond color automotive finish with a two-part polyurethane over epoxy print, providing hundreds of hours of protection from UV rays and saline environments.
The tank is tested at various stages of the production line to verify quality and ensure the structural integrity of each tank.
