Victron Phoenix 12/30 Charger
The Phoenix 12/30 charger features a microprocessor-controlled variable battery management system that can be configured for different battery types.
Its "variable" function automatically optimizes the charging process based on battery usage.
Battery Specifications
Variable 4-stage charging function: initial - absorption - float - storage. Three outlets, two full and one 4 amp. Universal input 90-265V, 50/60Hz.
BatterySafe
Prevents damage from overgassing by automatically limiting the rate of voltage rise once gassing voltage is reached.
Storage Mode
Storage mode is activated when the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours. In storage mode, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for 12V batteries) to reduce gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is raised to the absorption level to "equalize" the battery. This feature prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, the leading causes of battery failure.
Battery Voltage Probe
To compensate for voltage losses due to cable resistance, Phoenix chargers have a voltage probe function so that the battery always receives the correct charging voltage.
Universal input voltage range
The chargers accept 90-400V DC supply.
